SILQ (“SILQ”, “we”, “us”) provides a virtual try-on app that lets you see how clothing and accessories look on a photo of yourself. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the SILQ mobile app and silqapp.com.

Information we collect

Account details — your email address, and any display name, username, bio, and profile photo you add.
Photos of you — the selfie and full-body photos you upload so we can generate try-ons of you.
Fit details — optional information you provide such as height, size, gender, and style preferences to make try-ons more accurate.
Try-on content — the product links or images you submit, and the try-on images and videos we generate for you.
Community activity — if you share a look, the posts, captions, likes, saves, follows, and comments you make.
Purchases — subscription and purchase status. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full card details.
Device & usage data — standard technical information such as app version, device type, and basic usage needed to operate and improve the service.

How we use your information

To generate your virtual try-ons and run the features you request.
To create and secure your account and process subscriptions.
To power the community features you choose to use.
To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
To communicate with you about your account or important changes.

How your photos are processed

To create a try-on, your photos and the outfit images are sent to specialized AI providers that perform the image and video generation on our behalf. These providers process the images to return your result and act as our service providers under contract. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use your photos to advertise to you.

Service providers we share with

We share limited information with vendors that help us run SILQ, including:

Cloud database, authentication, and storage providers (e.g., Supabase, Cloudflare) to host your account and content.
AI image/video providers (e.g., fal.ai, Replicate, and the model providers behind them) to generate try-ons.
Subscription management (RevenueCat) and the App Store to handle purchases.
Product-link and affiliate services used to resolve the items you paste and, where applicable, earn a referral fee if you buy from a retailer.

Each provider is permitted to use the data only to perform services for us.

Public and private content

Your profile is private by default choice in-app: you control whether your profile and shared looks appear publicly. If you make your profile public or share a look to the community, that content — and a public web page for it — can be viewed by others. Making your profile private removes it from public discovery and public web pages. You can change this at any time in the app.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Account settings → Delete account), which permanently removes your account and associated data, subject to limited legal or operational retention. You can also remove individual photos and looks in the app.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise many of these directly in the app, or contact us using the details below.

Children

SILQ is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We and our providers may process your information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date above.
